Here are some bold predictions for the Carolina Panthers as they look to end the recent resurgence of the Miami Dolphins in Week 12.
There is a lot on the line as the Carolina Panthers get set for a trip to the Miami Dolphins in Week 12. Sunday’s loss against the Washington Football Team only heightens the urgency throughout the organization as the team looks to strengthen their hopes of attaining a postseason spot in a frantic NFC race that could go down to the last game.
The Dolphins are not the sure-fire win they were earlier in the campaign. Things seem to finally be clicking for Brian Flores’ side in the midst of a three-game winning run and this contest being on the road is another thing the Panthers must overcome.
Carolina knows that they can enjoy some much-needed rest in Week 13, so putting forward maximum effort is the minimum requirement in pursuit of victory.
With this in mind, here are five bold predictions for the Panthers this weekend.
Bold Prediction No. 1

Cam Newton will be turnover-free again
It was an encouraging first start for Cam Newton since his return to the Carolina Panthers. Things were kept pretty basic from a scheme standpoint as the signal-caller familiarizes himself with the system, but the former first-round pick out of Auburn still managed to put together a solid display with the entire NFL watching closely.
Newton made some outstanding throws and, more importantly, he protected the football throughout. Even though Carolina’s defense didn’t hold up during what was arguably their most disappointing performance of the campaign.
It might be tougher to do this against a stout Miami 3-4 scheme. But if anyone is capable of this, then Newton is the guy.
