Which under-the-radar Carolina Panthers players must make a lasting contribution during their must-win clash at the Miami Dolphins in Week 12?
Another game day has finally arrived, and it’s a big one for the Carolina Panthers. We’ve now entered the business end of the 2021 season and Matt Rhule’s men know nothing less than a win will do at the Miami Dolphins in Week 12.
Last Sunday’s loss to the Washington Football Team means that Carolina now has a stiff task on their hands to secure playoff football. Although nobody within the organization is giving up just yet.
However, should the Panthers fall at the Dolphins just before their much-needed bye in Week 13, then it’s going to make things extremely difficult considering their strength of schedule in the coming weeks.
This needs to be a collective effort.

With this in mind, here are five under-the-radar Panthers players that must perform well at Hard Rock Stadium.
Player No. 1

Lachlan Edwards – Carolina Panthers P
Acquiring some solid field position on both sides of the football is going to be crucial on the road in Miami. Lachlan Edwards will play a leading role in this for Carolina’s defense and if the punter can continue his fine form of late, it should be a big help.
Edwards has won the job for the rest of the season one suspects after the Panthers opted to release Joseph Charlton once he returned to health. The former New York Jet is averaging 47.9 yards per attempt through his first four games, which is better than many anticipated when he was brought into the franchise.
If Edwards can assist his team in a similar manner at the Dolphins, then the defense might just be able to make the most of it against a less than stellar offensive line.
