Carolina Panthers coaching staff has to be blamed

The biggest reason why the wheels are likely falling off is because of coaching.

It just seems that head coach Matt Rhule has lost control of this team, and whatever the coaching staff is doing at practice isn’t working.

Whether it’s special teams, defense, or offense, every aspect of the Carolina Panthers’ roster right now seems to have holes. Rhule is being outcoached every game and hasn’t been able to take the next step in the NFL.

When Cam Newton arrived a few weeks ago, some thought he could help cover up the holes on this Panthers team. That hasn’t happened and a lot of the blame has to be put on this coaching staff.

With all the penalties, poor time management and simply not being ready to play, this is an undisciplined team.

Carolina Panthers season is on the brink

Now sitting at 5-7, the Panthers will finally enter a bye week and this game will be a tough one to have to sit on for two weeks.

Carolina still has a brutal schedule to finish out the season and unless something major changes, which seems unlikely at this point, they’ll be missing the playoffs for the fourth-straight year.

Rhule can talk about the brand all he likes. But something is amiss somewhere and the coaching staff cannot find the right solutions to ongoing problems.
