Which Atlanta Falcons players must the Carolina Panthers keep quiet in Week 14 if they want to get their 2021 season back on track?

A bye week was much-needed for the Carolina Panthers after they lost two-straight games that included a blowout loss to the Miami Dolphins in their last contest.

Things still don’t look promising for Carolina and the energy surrounding Cam Newton’s re-signing seems like ages ago. But a division win over the Atlanta Falcons is pivotal if the Panthers want any more signs of life for this season.

Even though Carolina was on a bye, the team still found itself in the headlines as head coach Matt Rhule fired offensive coordinator Joe Brady after just over a year on the job.

Rhule is up next on the hot seat and he’s running out of scapegoats, meaning the margin for error is now paper thin where the former Baylor man is concerned.

The Falcons are also not a very good team. The only bright spot is the surprising breakout of running back Cordarrelle Patterson.

Carolina Panthers could enhance their surprising playoff hopes in Week 14.

Somehow, even though both of these two NFC South teams have looked very bad this year, they’ve each managed five wins and who comes away with another in Week 14 will surprisingly still be very much in the thick of the NFC wildcard race.

The loser could likely say goodbye to any chance.

Carolina won an ugly matchup between the two back in Week 8 but has gone through a lot of change since. Here are five Falcons players they need to keep quiet this weekend.
