5 major factors to blame for Carolina Panthers’ loss vs. the Falcons Week 14
By Dean Jones
Carolina Panthers are poorly prepared and poorly coached
The bye week was a chance for the Carolina Panthers to reflect, regroup, and adjust.
It seems that firing Joe Brady was the only thing Matt Rhule and his staff managed to accomplish.
This is a poorly prepared team. Time and time again we are seeing subtle things catch them unaware and the staff just isn’t doing a good enough job of coming up with the necessary solutions in-game.
If Rhule was under pressure before the game, it’s just gone through the roof.
Considering how tough things are about to get for the Panthers, it’s unlikely to get better anytime soon. Something that might lead David Tepper into drastic action when it’s all said and done.
Can Rhule be trusted with another offseason given his previous two years?
Can Rhule be trusted to come up with his own self-improvements during a crucial third year of his tenure?
Tepper needs to answer these questions for himself. He might not get an objective answer from those within the organization given how Rhule has surrounded himself with close confidants outside of general manager Scott Fitterer.
It’s just poor and draining the team’s fanbase. Bank of America Stadium was almost empty long before Carolina threatened to get themselves back into the contest, which might be the most concerning thing of all.
