What are some huge questions the Carolina Panthers need to answer with just four games remaining of the 2021 season?

The Carolina Panthers have gone through plenty of ups and downs this season. And there promises to be much more drama to come over the final four weeks of the 2021 campaign.

Matt Rhule’s men currently find themselves at 5-8 following their disastrous loss to the Atlanta Falcons at Bank of America Stadium in Week 14. A game that did little to alleviate concerns about certain areas of the organization moving forward.

If there was any hope of attaining something from the campaign, it’s now all but gone. And there can be no denying this is a major disappointment considering the Panthers began at 3-0 and remained in the playoff hunt until Sunday’s capitulation on home soil.

Without further ado, here are five huge questions remaining for the Panthers as the business end of the season approaches.

Question No. 1

What is the best Carolina Panthers OL combination?

The fact this is a question comes down to those in power not prioritizing the offensive line during the offseason and the coaching staff’s stubborn approach when it comes to some players.

Nobody expected the Panthers’ protection to pull up any trees in 2021 with the options at their disposal. But with so many combinations used by Carolina with little in the way of progress, one has to wonder just what the pro evaluation process actually looks like when it comes to finding reliable linemen capable of making a difference.

Whether this can change or not between now and the end of the season remains to be seen. But make no mistake, this should be priority No. 1 for Carolina this offseason.
