4 keys to a shock Carolina Panthers victory at the Bills in Week 15

Carolina Panthers need an elite effort from Stephon Gilmore
The Buffalo Bills have a dynamic offense that’s capable of putting up substantial numbers extremely quickly. They are led by a stud quarterback in Josh Allen who possesses a phenomenal arm and ability to generate yards on the ground, which are complemented by an exceptional group of pass-catchers that make plays for big yardage at will.
This is going to be a significant challenge for the Carolina Panthers. One that needs a drastic turnaround in form considering how much their defense has regressed in recent weeks.
Despite all the doom and gloom enveloping the franchise right now, the production of Stephon Gilmore has been highly encouraging after the All-Pro cornerback’s return from a torn quad.
The former South Carolina star played every defensive snap against the Atlanta Falcons – the first time he’s done so this season after the Panthers acquired him from the New England Patriots for a sixth-round pick. But he’ll have his hands full this weekend against one of the league’s best route-runners in Stefon Diggs.
Gilmore has already demonstrated his shutdown capabilities against high-profile adversaries such as Kyle Pitts this season. If he can hold Diggs in check and other players also do their job effectively, then it could provide the Panthers with a slight opening for what might end up being one of the shocks of the season.
