How much fight remains in the Carolina Panthers?
All the talk of playoff football didn’t amount to anything in the end. So now is the time to show just how much fight the Carolina Panthers staff and players have in them after getting beaten down plenty since their 3-0 start.
This is all about pride and character within the locker room.
The coaching staff is going through some complications – which saw Joe Brady fired as offensive coordinator – but from a player perspective, just fight for yourself and your teammates and see where the chips fall thereafter.
If the Panthers don’t end up doing enough against a strong Buffalo Bills outfit, then so be it.
But anything less than maximum effort will not be tolerated by the team’s fanbase.
Carolina has been disrespected and in some cases, bullied, during games. That has to end this weekend and over the final four games of the 2021 season despite the stern challenges awaiting them.
Players and coaches are fighting for their futures. If things continue regressing during this difficult run of games, then heads might just roll as soon as the campaign comes to a conclusion.
The Keep Pounding mantra is all about plowing forward in the face of extreme adversity. Sam Mills set the tone, and now the current crop of players must follow suit.
Otherwise, it wouldn’t be a shock to see them fall to yet another embarrassing loss.
