Which Carolina Panthers players should you start or sit in fantasy football during their Week 15 game against the Buffalo Bills?

They aren’t who we thought they were.

Carolina Panthers fans and media were optimistic after the team bested the short-handed, but very good, Arizona Cardinals. They had three “winnable” games against the Washington Football Team, Miami Dolphins, and Atlanta Falcons before facing the gauntlet of tough opponents down the stretch.

Fast forward to this week, Carolina has lost all three of those games and is all but out of the playoff picture with four contests remaining. Barring a miracle, this team may end the season with the same amount of wins as it had last year.

That lack of progress is maddening considering the talent on this team. But the sad reality is the Panthers are probably back to square one.

The defense is fine for the most part, but there are still major questions at head coach, quarterback, offensive line, and perhaps even at the skill positions to be answered. While David Tepper’s competitive spirit is admirable, the biggest lesson of all may be that this franchise probably should have fully leaned into a rebuild after Ron Rivera was fired following the 2019 season.

Trying to be a playoff team for the past two seasons has arguably set Carolina further back. However, there’s still plenty of football to be played this year, so here are the Panthers players I suggest you start and sit this week at the Buffalo Bills in fantasy.
