Who were the big winners and losers from the Carolina Panthers’ loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 15 of the 2021 season?

Nobody expected the Carolina Panthers to win this game considering how they’ve been playing but the matchup had to happen and once again, to no surprise, the team was disappointing in a loss at the Buffalo Bills.

Considering how much talent is on this roster, nothing is heading in the right direction. Even in a game where the Panthers held Buffalo to just 17 first-half points, they still managed to get blown out with how bad their offense is.

Things almost seemed as if they were over before the game even started when kicker Zane Gonzalez, who has been great since signing with the team in Week 3, injured his quad in pregame warmups.

With Gonzalez out, the Panthers had multiple skill position players attempt kickoffs prior to the game, including backup quarterback P.J. Walker.

Due to not having a kicker, Carolina couldn’t even try and stay close when unable to score in the red zone because there was nobody remotely reliable to attempt a field goal for much-needed points to keep the scoreboard ticking over.

The Panthers have now lost nine of their past 10 games and are unofficially out of playoff contention. With three contests remaining, including two against the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, this season is a wash.

With that said, here are three winners and three losers from another dismal Carolina performance at Highmark Stadium.
