Which Carolina Panthers players should you start or sit in fantasy football during their Week 16 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers?

Congratulations if you’ve made it this far. With so many players out with injuries and COVID-19 at this point in the season, it takes a lot of skill – and luck – to be one of the final four teams standing in fantasy football, regardless of the difficulty of your league.

I’ve made it to the semi-final round in two of the three leagues I took part in this year, each with different rules and formats. No matter how knowledgeable you are, fantasy football can be wildly unpredictable. Even if your season ends this week, give yourself a pat on the back.

If you’re reading this as a Carolina Panthers fan, give yourself a pat on the back for sticking with this team during this tumultuous season. By losing at the Buffalo Bills, the organization guaranteed themselves their fourth-straight losing season, something that has never happened in the franchise’s history.

On the bright side, third-year defensive end Brian Burns was elected to the Pro Bowl as a starter. Oddly, his fellow pass rusher Hasson Reddick has better numbers than the Florida State product in every relevant category, but he is listed as an outside linebacker and was only listed as a first alternate.

Both players should be in the Pro Bowl if you ask me and I’ll die on the hill that Burns should have been selected last year.

On the main event, here are the Panthers players I suggest you start and sit this week vs. the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in fantasy.

Note: All fantasy point totals are based on NFL.com’s scoring system.
