Channing Tindall – LB (Georgia)

The Carolina Panthers traded away Denzel Perryman after declaring he wasn’t the right fit. However, the Las Vegas Raiders benefitted enormously as the Miami product went on to earn Pro Bowl honors from the best campaign of his professional career.

Jermaine Carter’s inconsistency and the fact he’s out of contract means the Panthers could be on the lookout for their third starting middle linebacker in as many seasons following the retirement of perennial All-Pro Luke Kuechly.

Replacing Kuechly can never truly be done. But the Panthers are finding out just how fortunate they were to have elite production from the second level for so long.

Perhaps Channing Tindall could be the answer long-term. The Georgia star has phenomenal speed and the necessary instincts needed to become a sideline-to-sideline presence at the next level, with his potential to generate pressure something else working in his favor.

The Bulldogs defense has been nothing short of sensational this season and is the driving force behind what could be a national championship-winning campaign if they beat Alabama. Tindall’s influence has grown with every passing game and the player is sure to test well at the NFL Scouting Combine to further bolster his draft stock.
