Which Carolina Panthers players should you start or sit in fantasy football during their Week 17 game against the New Orleans Saints?

This one is for all the marbles. If you’re still in contention to win your fantasy league, congratulations on making it this far. As a championship contender in one of my leagues, I’m glad to have taken this journey with you.

The ride has not been so smooth for the Carolina Panthers in Matt Rhule’s second season as head coach. Between questionable roster choices and a reportedly disgruntled locker room, the former Baylor man has found himself in quicksand.

But let’s not focus on the negative for right now. Just scroll through Panthers Twitter if you prefer to do that. The truth is, this year has had a few positives that the team can build on next season. Since it isn’t the focus of this article, of course, I’ll just briefly name a couple.

The first positive is D.J. Moore’s consistency and durability. The former Maryland wideout’s ceiling as a No. 1 receiver is definitely up for debate, but he has been the most reliable member of the team even if it doesn’t always show up on the stat sheet.

Moore’s best ability is his availability and three straight 1,000 yard seasons is nothing to sneeze at.

The second is that there is no major personnel issue on the defensive side of the ball. The unit is far from perfect, but outside of acquiring a couple of ancillary pieces in the offseason, it doesn’t feel like there’s a huge gap that needs to be filled.

Carolina’s offseason needs are pretty clear. Fix the offensive line and find an above-average starting quarterback.

Now without further ado and for the last time this season, I’ll tell you which Panthers players to start and sit this week at the New Orleans Saints.
