Which Carolina Panthers will be glad to see the back of what’s been another hugely disappointing 2021 season for the organization?

To say the 2021 season has been a long, hard slog for the Carolina Panthers would be understating things. A tremendous 3-0 start has been followed by just two successes in 13 games, resulting in a fourth-straight losing campaign and more doubts than ever before regarding the direction of this current regime.

This is not a stable franchise right now. The Panthers are in clear disarray offensively, with the firing of coordinator Joe Brady doing absolutely nothing to transform torrid production that’s clearly holding the team back.

Although there’s been some encouragement on the defensive side of things, they can only do so much. Big decisions have backfired and unless this approach changes during the offseason, then it’s going to be another rough ride in 2022 considering the strength of schedule.

Without further ado, here are five Panthers who’ll be more than happy to see the back of the current 2021 campaign.

David Tepper – Carolina Panthers owner

There hasn’t been much to be proud about on the field for David Tepper. The Carolina Panthers owner stumped up some significant financial resources to buy the team and form exceptional plans away from the gridiron that should turn the organization into an industry leader in that sense.

However, his decision to hire Matt Rhule is coming back to haunt him. And there is growing pressure from the team’s fanbase for action to save further dismay in the long run.

This all comes down to Tepper’s pride, in all honesty. If the billionaire is willing to admit he’s wrong. then it might see a shock change when it’s all said and done – especially if a fourth-straight losing season is finally the tipping point.

But based on reports from trusted reporters, don’t bet on it.
