Tom Brady – QB

It feels like I just wrote about stopping him two weeks ago.

Well, that’s because I did.

Facing Tom Brady, the GOAT, twice in three weeks is a daunting task. And with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers still fighting to lock up the No. 2 seed in the NFC, he won’t take the Carolina Panthers easy by any means.

Brady didn’t have his best game the last time he faced Carolina just two weeks ago. But he bounced back this past week at the New York Jets and still has one last chance to prove his MVP case, which he is still very much in the running for.

The seven-time Super Bowl winner is on the verge of another 5,000 yard passing season and already has 40 touchdowns to just 12 interceptions on the year.

The only thing in the Panthers’ favor is that his offensive weapons took another hit with Antonio Brown leaving the team. However, his backup wide receivers stepped up and fitted in quite nicely.

Tampa Bay’s running attack is a bit depleted as well so Brady will have to really make some magic. If he can put Carolina to the sword, then it might make all the difference to the Bucs’ playoff hopes and his own MVP chances.
