5 teams that could steal Haason Reddick from the Panthers in free agency

Miami Dolphins
It was something of a surprise to see the Miami Dolphins miss the postseason in 2021. A dismal start was matched by a sensational run to end the campaign, which wasn’t enough to save head coach Brian Flores from ax after some disagreements behind the scenes and especially when it came to starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
This is one of the hottest jobs available this offseason. And with $67.57 million in spare cap space, there is room to significantly strengthen an already impressive group of players on both sides of the football.
If the Carolina Panthers and Haason Reddick don’t end up finding some middle ground regarding an extended stay, then the Dolphins would be a team to monitor. Miami was among the league leaders in sacks per game with 2.8 and adding another formidable weapon could make all the difference against divisional rivals such as Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, and Josh Allen.
Slotting someone like Reddick into Andrew Van Ginkel’s position represents a significant upgrade. Although much would depend on how much the Dolphins need to allocate to improving their protection this offseason.
That being said, pass rushers are hard to find, which is why the Panthers must do all they can to extend Reddick. If all else fails, they do have the option of placing him under the franchise tag, which isn’t ideal but will give the organization a little extra time to work something out.
