The Carolina Panthers are about to embark on their most important offseason in recent memory, and head coach Matt Rhule has no more margin for error.

There is a great deal of intrigue and anticipation where the Carolina Panthers are concerned this offseason. With head coach Matt Rhule at the helm despite growing pressure for a change in direction, the conclusions those within the organization make in the coming months could go a long way to determining whether or not this project starts trending in the right direction or a complete reset is needed.

Just what Rhule said to team owner David Tepper to keep his job is unclear. But the billionaire seems to have faith in the man he gave a seven-year contract to despite little to no progress where it matters most – on the field.

One thing is certain. The Panthers cannot keep getting key personnel decisions wrong if they want to be considered anything like a postseason contender moving forward.

With free agency and the 2022 NFL Draft fast approaching, plans should now be formed and potential targets identified. Carolina cannot afford to be left behind in this scenario and one false move or two might see some landmark changes in the not-too-distant future.

Without further ado, here are four bold predictions for the Panthers as they get set to embark on one of their most important offseason periods in recent memory.
