4 potential landing spots for former Panthers OC Joe Brady in 2022

With Brian Daboll officially accepting the head coaching job at the New York Giants, it leaves the Buffalo Bills searching for a new offensive coordinator. This is a sought-after role thanks to the presence of quarterback Josh Allen and other dynamic weapons, which could be the perfect spot for Joe Brady to reignite his NFL career.
The connections between Buffalo and the Carolina Panthers are obvious and well documented. Although Brady did not work with Sean McDermott, he’s probably a name they will discuss before coming up with a list of potential candidates.
Daboll is going to be sorely missed, there’s no getting away from that. And the Bills have to get their next appointment right to keep Allen’s development trending in the right direction.
Brady might have been hampered by a lack of consistency under center and a torrid offensive line in Carolina. But it’s not hard to envisage a situation where another NFL team gives him the benefit of the doubt in a coordinator role.
Perhaps McDermott is looking for someone with a better track record. Brady did get some head coaching buzz last year without doing enough to secure a top job, so it wouldn’t be the biggest shock in the world if Buffalo brought him in for an interview, at the very least.
