3 hypothetical trade offers for the Panthers to land Russell Wilson

Carolina Panthers trade offer No. 3
General manager Scott Fitterer recently stated his intention to treat their remaining draft picks like a precious commodity. But if the right opportunity comes along, then it might see the Carolina Panthers make another bold move in the trade market to get them back on track.
As stated previously, Fitterer and Russell Wilson are linked and although it would take some convincing, the Panthers could at least get a potential meeting with the quarterback given this relationship from their time together on the Seattle Seahawks.
It appears as if Pete Carroll is sticking around as head coach despite Seattle’s alarming regression in 2021. However, Wilson made some noises about a potential trade last offseason and if he’s more aggressive this time around, it could lead the franchise into dealing the veteran for some valuable draft capital.
Multiple draft selections – one first, two seconds, and a fourth – over the next three years could tempt the Seahawks into doing a deal. One they would undoubtedly not sign off before a solid contingency plan is put in place.
Carolina would need to move some serious money around to make this trade a possibility. Convincing Wilson that his future lies in Carolina will be even more difficult.
A pipedream? Perhaps.
But the benefits are there for all to see.
