Carolina Panthers select Marquis Hayes – OL (Oklahoma)

As stated previously, the Carolina Panthers are desperate for immediate assistance on their offensive line. The offense cannot function correctly without a significant upgrade in protection and unless this emerges as the team’s top priority, then it’s going to come with the exact same complications next time around.

One player who did his chances no harm at all during Senior Bowl week was Marquis Hayes. A brute force on the interior who enjoyed a fantastic career at Oklahoma to prepare him fully for the next stage of his football journey.

Hayes possesses elite power that carves up running lanes at will. This is matched by surprisingly quick footwork and balance for a man his size.

Despite not having the greatest amount of experience, Hayes is adequately aware of his surroundings on the line and plays with a nasty streak that’s sure to go down well with NFL scouts.

Although Hayes does find life difficult on occasions against speedier interior rushers, there is a lot for the coaching staff to go off initially. Brushing up these fundamentals is only going to enhance the prospect’s chances of making a real go of things in the NFL and the Panthers might be a solid fit with the chance to start sooner than anticipated.
