3 trade destinations where Christian McCaffrey could win a Super Bowl

Dallas Cowboys could target Christian McCaffrey
One could argue that this is the last thing the Dallas Cowboys should contemplate. They already have an overpaid running back failing to justify his bumper salary in Ezekiel Elliott, so why risk a large portion of their cap on another?
However, there could be a scenario where Elliott is cut this offseason as Dallas looks to offload some salaries in pursuit of remaining competitive. The Ohio State product looked a little sluggish at times in 2021 and based on his production over the last two years, the player’s best days could be behind him.
Tony Pollard is a nice complimentary piece. But whether he could shoulder the entire load in the event Elliott was moved on is another matter.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones loves hogging the headlines and going after star players capable of boosting the team’s reputation. Christian McCaffrey fits the bill perfectly and although unlikely, the benefits are there for all to see.
McCaffrey and Pollard working as a tandem and also assisting in the passing game have the potential to cause opposing defenses all sorts of problems. It would also represent a major statement of intent that Dallas is going for it all in 2022.
Adding McCaffrey to a high-octane offense with a supreme offensive line has untold potential. Pollard’s presence might also eliminate any extra strain on the player given his recent injury complications with the Carolina Panthers.
