Carolina Panthers could draft Aqeel Glass

Out of all the quarterbacks on this list, Aqeel Glass is the one with the highest floor. This will come with a semi-premium cost to get him.

His physical ability is very clear when you turn on the game film, and his arm strength is quite suitable for the NFL.

Glass’ deep balls flash on the screen with beautiful touch, clearly demonstrating his ability to play in a deep ball offense. The signal-caller is not the idyllic picture of athleticism, but he can certainly move well within and outside of the pocket, widening the throwing windows, which is especially important and a must for the new era of NFL quarterback.

The Alabama A&M product definitely has all the tools needed to fit the mold that we have been talking about, and the small school prospect has a great chance to be selected as a potential quarterback of the future for a franchise willing to take a swing.

Glass did nothing to hurt his stock thanks to a standout showing at the HBCU Legacy Bowl, which is something he can hopefully build on throughout the remainder of the assessment process before the all-important draft weekend.

Look for Glass to go anywhere from Rounds 4-6. If the Carolina Panthers strike out on their trade options and decide to use the No. 6 overall selection on the offensive line, then he could come into the equation.
