Which offensive tackles could the Carolina Panthers look to sign in 2022 free agency as they strive to strengthen a clear problem area of the roster?

With NFL free agency just a few weeks away, the Carolina Panthers need to be doing everything in their power to fix the offensive line for next season. This is no easy task, but it’s one that can not be neglected for another offseason.

The Panthers haven’t been able to bring in a high-profile free agent at the line position in quite some time, if ever. For years this unit hasn’t been addressed properly and this has led to some disappointing moments and seasons in Carolina.

Last season, the Panthers ranked 29th in pass block win rate, and 26th in run block win rate, according to ESPN Analytics. General manager Scott Fitterer has already talked about making the offensive line a priority this season so hopefully, this is the start of a new beginning.

The Panthers already have Taylor Moton at right tackle, who just got a big payday last offseason. At the time, the former Western Michigan star’s contract made him the third highest-paid right tackle in the league, so he’ll be set in that spot for the next few years.

Everything else on the line is up for grabs.

As the team gets set to address our most important need, here are five offensive tackles that the Panthers should take a look at as they head into free agency.
