Left Tackle No. 3: Duane Brown – Seattle Seahawks

Another aged veteran that the Carolina Panthers could look at is Duane Brown, who is coming off a Pro Bowl campaign with the Seattle Seahawks and might just hit the market this offseason.

At 36 years old, the left tackle is still one of the most dependable blindside protectors in the league and Carolina would be in good hands if they could add a guy like him to the offensive line.

While we’re at the tail end of a wonderful 14-year career for Brown, it’s not out of the question to think that he still has four or five good years left in the tank. Jason Peters is already on this list and Los Angeles Rams left tackle Andrew Whitworth just started and won a Super Bowl at 40 years old.

Providing the desire and health remain on point, then there’s nothing to suggest Brown cannot be a significant asset to the Panthers. One that could also help Brady Christensen develop into a potential long-term option at the position.

If Carolina wants some experience on the line, which wouldn’t be the worst idea in the world considering their struggles in 2021, Brown would be more than an adequate option and there is also a connection between the player and former Seahawks employee turned Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer to factor into the equation.
