What are some ambitious goals that the Carolina Panthers could potentially attain during a crucial offseason period for the organization in 2022?

The 2021 season was one of heartache and disappointment for the Carolina Panthers and their fans alike. Dulled expectations were quickly raised during a 3-0 start that saw the team seem unbeatable. But then the hardships began.

Christian McCaffrey once again lost the majority of his season due to injury and newcomer Sam Darnold struggled mightily in the All-Pro’s absence along with the majority of the offensive line.

These issues saw the Panthers tumble into a hugely concerning losing run and cost multiple coaches their jobs as the season wore on as disastrous and embarrassing losses began to pile up.

Another season like this cannot happen in 2022 if anyone on this staff wants to see another year in Carolina, no matter how long their contracts say they have left.

The one bright side in all of this was a stellar defense coordinated by Phill Snow that, without some key injuries, would have been considered one of the best in the entire league. Albeit with multiple key players hitting free agency this year.

Realistically there is no easy path back to real contention for this Panthers team. Between massive holes along the offensive line, a gigantic question mark at quarterback, an almost complete revamp of the coaching staff, and the potential loss of key pieces in free agency, there is simply too much to realistically fix in one offseason.

However, this article is not about being realistic it’s about shooting for the stars. So what are five ambitious goals for the Panthers to try and achieve in the 2022 offseason?
