Most media sites have been mocking quarterbacks and offensive linemen to the Carolina Panthers at No. 6, but what if they defy expectations and go a different route?

The Carolina Panthers have definite needs at quarterback and offensive tackle, two of the most important positions in football. While Occam’s razor may tell you that they will take one of those positions, the draft is often highly unpredictable.

The Panthers have had success in recent drafts finding talent on the defensive side of the ball, could they possibly double down and secure the holes in their already ultra-talented unit to secure one side of the team?

Maybe they target the offensive line and quarterback situation in free agency?

It is clear that this is not a top-heavy class of talent, meaning the value at No. 6 is a very open bag, with lots of players meeting the grade in this particular class, making it hard to reach. Could this incentivize Carolina to get creative?

One thing is certain, Matt Rhule and company must absolutely hit on this pick, as it is at this moment the only selection they have in the top 100. Simply put, the need for this player to be an impact starter cannot be understated.

With all that being said, let’s dig into five prospects that Carolina could shockingly target for a home run hit in the 2022 NFL Draft.
