7 prospects on offense Panthers should watch at 2022 Scouting Combine

Carolina Panthers should watch Skyy Moore
Finding a wide receiver to compliment what the Carolina Panthers already have at their disposal would be a shrewd move by the front office this offseason. Robby Anderson’s regression was disappointing and if Terrace Marshall Jr. and Shi Smith don’t become bigger influences, it’s going to be a real problem for new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo.
There is perhaps no wideout in the draft who could boost their profile more than Skyy Moore at the NFL Scouting Combine. The Western Michigan product was a high school phenom that has an abundance of game-changing attributes that could make an immediate impression at the next level if he finds the right scheme.
Moore is an absolute revelation and secured a phenomenal 91.6 grade from Pro Football Focus in 2021 after attaining 95 receptions for 1,292 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. His top-end speed is a sight to behold and this is matched by exceptional ball skills that are sure to go down well with those in attendance at the combine.
In addition to this, Moore is a polished route-runner that gets open quickly – something that is reflected in an outstanding 116.7 passer rating when targeted throughout his college career.
Even though Moore is a little undersized for an outside weapon, the Panthers are crying out for slot help and this is where the prospect could thrive. Although they might have to get their hands on some Day 2 picks to land the player after the assessment process is over.
