What are the most notable takeaways from Carolina Panthers general manager Scott Fitterer’s NFL Scouting Combine press conference on Wednesday?

To say this offseason will be a pivotal one for the Carolina Panthers is an understatement. As the organization just finished their fourth-consecutive losing season, fans have grown very anxious and are ready for a winner.

With third-year head coach Matt Rhule on the hot seat, win-now moves have to be made this spring and that begins with the NFL Scouting Combine that is now underway ahead of April’s draft.

There are a lot of pressing needs this offseason and general manager Scott Fitterer, who is entering his second season with the Panthers, spoke with reporters at the combine in Indianapolis on Wednesday.

Fitterer discussed a variety of topics including the quarterback position, offensive line, free agents, possible draft moves and current players on the roster.

All-in-all, there were no bombshells. But certainly some interesting notes that he talked about regarding the state of the team and future moves.
