Philadelphia Eagles could move for Christian McCaffrey

  • No. 15, No. 16, and No. 19 overall selections in 2022

Jalen Hurts is a fun player to watch but there is no question the Philadelphia Eagles could change things up with three first-round picks. They are coming off of a surprise playoff berth that ended via a Tom Brady blowout loss – was this enough for the front office to consider landmark changes or will things remain the same?

If the Eagles are willing to run it back and not looking to make drastic alterations, they become a possibility for Christian McCaffrey.

Pairing McCaffrey with Hurts would help to take some of the pressure off of the young quarterback and help develop an easy passing game for a player who has struggled to pass the football with any consistency.

For the Carolina Panthers, this trade isn’t as ideal as the first three considering McCaffrey remains in the NFC. However, the amount of draft capital the Eagles possess demands that they are considered as a potential fit.

The Eagles have an interesting mix of veterans that would pair well with one of their first-round selections, giving Carolina a player to develop and immediate veteran help. A necessity for a coaching staff that is surely on the 2022 hot seat.
