With the NFL Scouting Combine over, what trades could make sense for the Carolina Panthers to reload on draft picks or new talent?

There has been more speculation for the Carolina Panthers regarding potential trades than almost every team, with new rumors seemingly weekly on another player on the block or a quarterback they are trying to acquire.

Where there is smoke, there is fire. It has become clear the Panthers are looking for a roster facelift before the start of the 2022 NFL Draft. Whether that is by recouping some picks or securing new players that could instantly improve their fortunes remains to be seen.

With Samir Suleiman securing contract restructures with Shaq Thompson and Taylor Moton recently, this could signal a big trade incoming or that Carolina is seeking a way to create even more financial space to make some major waves when the free-agent market hits.

There are lots of rooms for improvement on the Panthers roster, and quite a few areas of need that have yet to be filled. Carolina will need all the cap room and resources they can get to fill those roles and those in power also need to get almost every key personnel move right with so much on the line in 2022.

With this in mind, let’s take a look at three trades that would make the most sense for the Panthers in the coming weeks before the draft. Moves that could put them in a better position long-term.
