Which college prospects projected to go in the mid-rounds could the Carolina Panthers potentially steal during the 2022 NFL Draft?

With the NFL Scouting Combine now in the rearview mirror, prospects are starting to rise up and down draft boards. The Carolina Panthers have a lot of holes to fill this offseason and luckily for them, this class of college recruits is deep with a lot of talent that can make an impact on their roster.

What’s very unlucky for the Panthers is the fact that they only have one pick in the top three rounds. This seems like the perfect draft where you would love to have a boatload of mid-round selections to fill out a roster and Carolina is thin due to a bad trade to get quarterback Sam Darnold from the New York Jets and a questionable move to acquire cornerback C.J. Henderson.

Either way, those in power have to do their due diligence to look at some prospects who could potentially be a steal for the Panthers in the middle of the draft. Something that’s entirely possible in key position groups that need to be strengthened.

Carolina could trade back from the No. 6 overall selection or move on from some guys currently on the roster to get some more picks. But much will depend on other teams’ ambitions as to whether this can be accomplished.

Without further ado, here are five draft prospects projected to be taken in the mid-rounds that the Panthers could potentially steal.
