Carolina Panthers OL will be much improved

We get it, the schedule is tough and Tom Brady is back. But the Carolina Panthers have quietly put together an offensive line that might be capable of making some significant strides in 2021.

They need to find a left tackle if the coaching staff is not convinced in Brady Christensen, who could end up starting at left guard. If they can accomplish this between now and Week 1, then it’s going to do their chances no end of good.

Bradley Bozeman and Austin Corbett are two solid pros with exceptional production under their belts. And it’s easy to forget the Panthers also have Taylor Moton, one of the most consistent right tackles in the business.

This is a stark contrast to free agency last year when the Panthers signed Cam Erving and Pat Elflein to deals way beyond their talent levels within hours of the legal tampering period getting underway. But in fairness to those in power, it appears as if they have learned from their mistakes and have acted accordingly.

Just who will be manning the quarterback spot is the big question. However, the Panthers’ upgraded protection will give the chosen player every chance.

It takes more than a productive offensive line to win a divisional title. But after what Carolina’s fanbase has experienced over the last two years, it won’t do any harm that’s for sure.
