Which Carolina Panthers players will benefit most from the team’s new arrivals during an extremely busy free agency period in 2022?

It has been anything but dull for everyone associated with the Carolina Panthers during free agency so far. There have been plenty of comings and goings as the front office look to put the right pieces in place to finally get the organization trending on an upward curve next time around, which has seen more urgency than ever before given the job status of head coach Matt Rhule following two consecutive five-win seasons.

Overall, it’s gone relatively well for the Panthers. They have addressed problem areas without sacrificing too much of their salary cap and although some veterans left for pastures new, one could make a strong case for the roster looking stronger now than it did in 2021.

Of course, fixing the quarterback position is a primary objective that’s yet to be resolved. It appears as if the Panthers are going to go down the draft route with limited options remaining elsewhere, but a potential trade for someone like Jimmy Garoppolo or Baker Mayfield cannot be ruled out entirely.

What conclusions those in power make at the most important position on the field will have grave consequences. But outside of this and perhaps finding a productive left tackle in free agency, there is a lot to like about the business Carolina has done so far.

With this in mind, here are four Panthers players who could benefit most from the team’s recent acquisitions during 2022 free agency to date.
