Which 2022 NFL Draft prospects have the Carolina Panthers reportedly met with so far as the all-important selection process draws ever closer?

Speculation is entering fever-pitch levels regarding the Carolina Panthers and just what they are going to do at No. 6 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. Those in power within the organization have done an impressive job of finding the right fits for problem areas during free agency, which means they are likely to go with one of four options when push comes to shove later this month.

The need for a premier left tackle is obvious and there could be an instant problem-solver available from an exceptional group. Finding an upgrade on Sam Darnold is also a priority and the potential of adding an elite edge rusher cannot be ruled out, either.

General manager Scott Fitterer could also decide to trade back in pursuit of giving the Panthers additional draft capital with just one selection in the top-130. So it’s going to be fascinating to see which direction Carolina eventually chooses.

With all that being said, we took a look at WalterFootball.com’s tracker for an in-depth rundown on who the Panthers have met with during the assessment process to date.

Carolina Panthers have met with Cole Strange

There has been a lot to like about the way Cole Strange has applied in recent months. The versatile Chattanooga offensive lineman caught the eye at both the 2022 Senior Bowl and NFL Scouting Combine, which has seen the prospect’s draft stock soar as a result.

The Carolina Panthers have reportedly worked out Strange privately to get a better feel about what he could bring to the organization. He is a little undersized judging by normal league standards, but he more than makes up for this with outstanding technique, high intelligence, and borderline elite quickness.

Carolina has done a nice job of strengthening their offensive line interior during free agency. Adding Strange would give their depth another big shot in the arm.
