Which positions could the Carolina Panthers strengthen more than once during what promises to be a fascinating 2022 NFL Draft?

The 2022 NFL Draft is full of speculation and rumors right now for the Carolina Panthers. Nobody knows for sure what the organization is going to do with holes to fill and the prospect of trading down to consider, but one thing that can be said is that the upcoming decisions will have some long-term, significant ramifications on the future of the franchise.

Matt Rhule is a man under pressure, even though team owner David Tepper hasn’t given up on his head coach just yet. However, if things don’t start progressing in a positive fashion next season, landmark changes might be made just three years into the former Baylor man’s seven-year contract.

Carolina is in a relatively tough spot in the draft. They aren’t blessed with much in the way of capital, which only heightens the urgency to get things right and give their chances another shot in the arm.

With this in mind, here are four positions the Panthers could draft more than once in 2022.

Carolina Panthers could select IOL more than once

Those in power within the Carolina Panthers did an excellent job of strengthening their interior offensive line during free agency. Deadwood options such as John Miller and Trenton Scott are both no longer around and the team replaced these outgoing veterans with a couple of proven performers in Bradley Bozeman and Super Bowl winner Austin Corbett.

Although this should bring a turnaround in fortunes, Carolina’s depth remains a concern and there is also the conundrum about where Brady Christensen is best suited to factor into the equation.

If the Panthers decide to utilize Christensen as a left tackle, then it might see the organization bring in a couple of college recruits to improve depth at the guard positions.
