What dangerous moves could the Carolina Panthers still make during a busy 2022 offseason period for the organization so far?

A dramatic offseason for the Carolina Panthers has many twists and turns to come. We are now less than two weeks from the 2022 NFL Draft, which is likely to shape the short and potentially long-term future of the organization depending on which avenues they decide to take regarding key positional groups.

There has been a much more methodical approach to recruitment from the Panthers in recent months. Aside from their all-out bid for Deshaun Watson that ended in failure, the team deserves credit for bringing in the right pieces at good prices and there could be even more to come with $30.85 million in salary-cap space remaining.

Carolina is keeping their cards close to the chest in the lead-up to the draft. But it’s not hard to figure out what areas need reinforcing before formal team activities begin in the not-too-distant future.

After so many bold moves that haven’t gone according to plan, there can be no more room for rash decision-making from those in power. Otherwise, it could force team owner David Tepper into a complete reset this time next year.

With this in mind, here are three dangerous moves the Panthers could still make before the 2022 season gets underway.
