What would the perfect draft weekend look like for the Carolina Panthers as they aim to turn around their disastrous run during the 2022 season?

The stakes could not be higher for the Carolina Panthers over the next few weeks. Their hopes of progressing in 2022 are hanging in the balance and unless the organization gets some important decisions right, it’s going to significantly hinder their hopes of making some real noise in a weak-looking NFC next time around.

General manager Scott Fitterer and others within the Panthers have done some impressive work throughout the offseason. Although some established veterans such as Haason Reddick, DaQuan Jones, and Stephon Gilmore departed, Carolina acquired some productive free agents that should immediately help and they still possess the league’s most salary-cap space for another big splash should they wish.

We are a little under two weeks away from the 2022 NFL Draft, which is set to be one of the more unpredictable in recent memory at the top end. This is down to some trepidation about the quarterback prospects entering the league and as fate would have it, Carolina is on the lookout for their third starting signal-caller in as many years after Sam Darnold failed to meet expectations.

Everything is pretty much on the table for the Panthers ahead of the all-important selection process. Considering that Carolina has just one selection in the top-136, Fitterer will need to get extremely creative to ensure he puts his team in the best possible position to thrive.

With this in mind, we took a look at what the perfect haul could be for Carolina in a seven-round dream mock draft.
