What trades could the Carolina Panthers potentially make during what is sure to be a dramatic 2022 NFL Draft for the organization?

After an underappreciated spell of recruitment in free agency, the Carolina Panthers now have a clearer indication of which avenues they are going to explore during the 2022 NFL Draft. These are pretty obvious from the outside looking in, but it will still be interesting to see what moves are made to put Matt Rhule in the best possible position to turn his predicament around.

Rhule was under significant fire in 2021 after a promising start descended into the usual chaos. Calls for the former Baylor man to be removed from his role were ignored by team owner David Tepper, who has offered little in the way of explanations in front of the media throughout the offseason – something that’s probably ill-advised given the situation.

The draft is going to be a key cog in generating momentum for Carolina. However, with only one selection in the first two days as it stands, general manager Scott Fitterer and other influential figures within the Panthers have their

work cut out in no uncertain terms.

Trading up and down the board was something Fitterer did plenty of last time around. If the right opportunities present themselves once again, then it’s something the Panthers will undoubtedly consider if they feel it can benefit the franchise in the short and long term.

With this in mind, here are four trades the Panthers could potentially make during the 2022 NFL Draft.
