Garrett Wilson – WR (Ohio State)

It seems as if another group of dynamic wide receivers will be emerging into the NFL this year. This is something of a trend and although players at the position are being paid handsomely at the top-end, finding cheaper alternatives capable of instant production could be a better way to sustained success.

Not everyone is fortunate enough to land someone like Davante Adams or Tyreek Hill. But there will be a host of teams queuing up to select wideouts early in the draft that could eventually be considered among the best in the business.

Garrett Wilson is someone that fits the mold. His production at Ohio State was exceptional and he’s backed it up with some jaw-dropping measurables during the assessment process that has more than a few teams taking a keen interest.

Some analysts even predict that Wilson won’t make it out of the top-10, such is the demand in the wideout. The Carolina Panthers brought in the player for a visit recently, but it would be a monumental shock if they went in this direction given their significant needs elsewhere.

With that being said, the Atlanta Falcons or New Orleans Saints could definitely use someone like Wilson, which would be a nightmare for the Panthers in the long and potentially even short-term depending on his transition.
