Panthers Draft 2022: OT secured in full 32-team first round mock draft

Washington Commanders select Jameson Williams
- Wide Receiver | Alabama
Now the former Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera has yet another new quarterback in Carson Wentz, it would be wise for the Washington Commanders to get some improved weapons around him.
Adding Jameson Williams to a wide receiver room that also consists of Terry McLaurin and the often injured Curtis Samuel would be Wentz’s best supporting cast of his career by a considerable margin.
Minnesota Vikings select Derek Stingley Jr.
- Cornerback | LSU
The Minnesota Vikings use yet another first-round pick on a cornerback after a series of misses at the position under the previous regime. Providing there are no more problems on the health front for Derek Stingley Jr., then this is a player with shutdown potential.
Stingley’s 2019 campaign at LSU was superb. Things haven’t gone according to plan since through no fault of his own, but the corner proved fitness is no longer a concern during an outstanding pro day.
Houston Texans select Kyle Hamilton
- Safety | Notre Dame
Considering how many needs the Houston Texans have, it might be worth taking the best player available here. This is undoubtedly Kyle Hamilton, who is arguably the most gifted prospect entering the league this year but could fall due to positional importance.
Hamilton is a rare breed. He can influence proceedings all over the field, coming up with big plays at crucial moments with a swagger that is hard not to love.
