Panthers Draft 2022: OT secured in full 32-team first round mock draft

Baltimore Ravens select Jordan Davis
- Defensive Tackle | Georgia
The Baltimore Ravens are at their best when they have a stout defensive tackle clogging up space and wrecking proceedings from the interior. Jordan Davis would provide this for a team that has an enormous amount going for it.
Davis is a robust player with unbelievable athleticism for a man his size. There are some concerns about his three-down capabilities in the NFL, but it’s something the Ravens should definitely consider.
Philadelphia Eagles select Chris Olave
- Wide Receiver | Ohio State
Finding the right wide receiver in the first round has been a disaster for the Philadelphia Eagles. This is a team that picked Jalen Reagor over Justin Jefferson, but Chris Olave is an explosive individual that will only improve Jalen Hurts’ chances of continuing his encouraging progress.
Olave is lightning fast and has the ball skills to match. The wideout may have played second-fiddle to Garrett Wilson at Ohio State, but that should not detract from what an exciting prospect he also is.
New Orleans Saints select Malik Willis
- Quarterback | Liberty
The first quarterback off the board goes to the New Orleans Saints, who select Malik Willis to sit behind and eventually take over from Jameis Winston.
Some sections of the Carolina Panthers fanbase would not be at all thrilled with this. Willis’ high upside is something they feel the team should gamble on, so for the signal-caller to go to a divisional rival would cause unrest, to put it mildly.
