Which 2022 NFL Draft prospects are generating some late buzz as the Carolina Panthers get set to make their first-round selection tonight?
The wait is finally over.
Tonight sees the Carolina Panthers finally end months of speculation by formally deciding which avenue they will explore at No. 6 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft. Something that’s been a long time coming during one of the more exhausting processes in recent memory.
This is down to the extreme unknowns surrounding the top-10. There is no guaranteed No. 1 overall selection like we saw with Trevor Lawrence in 2021 and the questions surrounding this year’s quarterback could lead to no college signal-caller being taken until late in the first round, either.
Only time will tell, obviously. But the Panthers need to be prepared for almost everything that transpires and react with the conviction needed to put them in a better position to succeed.
General manager Scott Fitterer wasn’t giving all that much away during his pre-draft presser. It’s been a frantic week of rumors with teams likely to have put out some false information about certain prospects or their intentions. Thankfully, silly season is now over and fans can look forward to the next batch of exciting college recruits arriving at the next level.
With this in mind, here are three draft prospects who are generating some late buzz where the Panthers are concerned.
