David Tepper believes that Charlotte is the best place for the Carolina Panthers

With all of the drama surrounding the Rock Hill project, some have been worried that David Tepper might just move the team elsewhere, which would immediately make him the most hated man in the Carolinas.

Tepper had also talked about building a new stadium in Charlotte, preferably with a dome. He put that talk to rest on Wednesday with some high praise about the Queen City and the current stadium that former owner Jerry Richardson built.

"“It is the most logical place for the Carolina Panthers to be, is in Charlotte. You know where the stadium is right now, it is the center of two states.”"

Even though he once said Bank of America Stadium Stadium would eventually fall down, he stated Wednesday that the stadium is kept in “pristine” condition and looks nice. Even if the atmosphere hasn’t exactly been great for the home team with so many rivals descending in great numbers for almost every contest.

So, for right now, Panthers fans shouldn’t worry about the team moving elsewhere or getting a new stadium. But that’s not to say Tepper wouldn’t contemplate a decision in the future depending on how things play out.
