By Dean Jones
How did the Carolina Panthers fare during what was inevitably an extremely eventful 2022 NFL Draft for everyone associated with the organization?
The Carolina Panthers had some monumental decisions to make during the 2022 NFL Draft. Holes needed to be filled and there was also a huge cloud hanging over the organization surrounding Sam Darnold and the potential upgrade coming at quarterback.
It was a difficult situation. One that was made worse by the Panthers not having any Day 2 draft capital to speak of heading into the weekend.
However, another successful period of recruitment has Carolina’s chances looking much better now than they did before the all-important selection process began.
General manager Scott Fitterer played everything perfectly for the second-straight year. Just what this means for the Panthers in 2022 remains to be seen. It’s certainly a big campaign for head coach Matt Rhule, but they might just have a chance at making strides if some incoming college recruits can hit the ground running.
With this in mind, we took an in-depth look at every Panthers’ draft pick and graded them in terms of need, team fit, value, and overall talent.
