Which 2023 NFL Draft prospects have been linked to the Carolina Panthers with one year to go before final decisions come to light?

Almost as soon as the 2022 NFL Draft came to a conclusion, analysts across the country began speculating just which prospects could be in line for high-end selections this time next year. A lot of football has to be played between now and then, but there is no harm in taking an early look at which direction the Carolina Panthers and others across the league might go.

Carolina came out of the draft with an impressive haul that is being looked upon favorably. There is just no telling how each college recruit is going to transition – especially lower down the draft – but the Panthers are banking on high athletic traits developing into something much more over time.

Scott Fitterer’s claim that the Panthers are now a draft and develop team is a far cry from the flurry of veteran trades the organization secured last season. An approach that could also suggest Matt Rhule is in for a longer stay as head coach despite the obvious pressure on his shoulders in 2022.

It will be interesting to see how this draft class can adapt, familiarize themselves with the scheme, and potentially beat current roster members into starting jobs if everything goes well. Something that might give the Panthers half a chance of making waves next time around.

Without further ado, we took a look at five prospects being linked with the Panthers in some way-too-early 2023 mock drafts.
