Which undrafted free agents recently signed by the Carolina Panthers could have the best chance to make the 53-man roster in 2022?

Once the NFL Draft nears its conclusion, teams begin searching for some unearthed diamonds in the undrafted free-agent market. The Carolina Panthers have found some success in this area over the last two seasons, so it wouldn’t be a big surprise if this trend continued after the organization confirmed 12 new signings to further bolster their options ahead of training camp.

Carolina only got six selections from the draft. So if they can develop some undrafted prospects into depth contributors over time, it will assist their cause enormously.

General manager Scott Fitterer is gaining a strong reputation for identifying less-heralded talent later on in the draft or those going undrafted. The Panthers once again selected highly athletic individuals with enormous upside, but much will also depend on just what the coaches can get out of the latest batch of college recruits next season and potentially beyond.

With this in mind, here are five undrafted free agents who could have the best chance to make Carolina’s 53-man roster in 2022.

Isaiah Graham-Mobley – Carolina Panthers LB

Although the Carolina Panthers moved up to acquire Brandon Smith in Round No. 4, their depth could be dealt a blow depending on what comes from the recent arrest of Damien Wilson. If the organization does end up releasing the former Super Bowl winner, then it might present an opportunity to Isaiah Graham-Mobley providing his transition goes according to plan.

Graham-Mobley is another with impressive athletic attributes. He is decent in coverage and packs enough punch to make a difference against the run for good measure.

This is not an instant problem-solver by any stretch. Graham-Mobley is a little undersized and does have trouble getting off blocks, so it will be interesting to see how he fares at the next level.
