Charleston Rambo – Carolina Panthers WR/KR

It was something of a surprise to see Charleston Rambo go undrafted after an outstanding 2021 season with the Miami Hurricanes. But it did not take long for the Carolina Panthers to snap him up once they were permitted to do so.

Rambo is a silky mover on the football field who possesses enough speed to cope with the steep increase in talent at the next level. This is matched by an accomplished route tree and lighting fast reactions to get out of his cuts.

Transferring from Oklahoma to Miami for his final campaign proved to be a wise move. Rambo responded well to more responsibility, recording 79 receptions, 1,172 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns from 12 games.

The prospect also has previous experience as a kick returner. A crucial area of play where the Panthers need additional assistance.

Although Rambo will have his work cut out trying to make his presence felt within a crowded wide receiver room, it cannot be ruled out if his transition into the pros goes smoothly.

Carolina signed no fewer than five undrafted free-agent wide receivers. Rambo could be the best of the bunch, but there is much work ahead for the player in pursuit of catching the eye.
