Where does each of the Carolina Panthers’ 2022 NFL Draft class fit on the team’s depth chart upon their immediate arrival to the next level?
Considering the limited capital available to the Carolina Panthers, it was a very impressive haul secured by the organization during the 2022 NFL Draft. General manager Scott Fitterer enhanced his growing reputation further with patience and conviction to make the moves needed at just the right time – something that’s improved the team’s chances next season and in the coming years.
Carolina managed to get their hands on six draft selections, with a further 12 prospects arriving via undrafted free agency. Fitterer’s job is now done, so it’s up to head coach Matt Rhule and the rest of his staff to develop their latest batch of college recruits quickly in the hope they can make telling contributions.
Some have more expectations than others. But the Panthers have done a nice job of identifying high athletic traits that could be of use once again.
Obviously, this is not guaranteed to come off. There is also a real need for the Panthers to demonstrate some sort of progression in Year 3 of Rhule’s tenure as the former Baylor man looks to dispel the notion that he is a lame duck and not cut out for the role.
Without further ado, we took a look at every draft pick and where they initially stand on the Panthers’ depth chart heading into rookie minicamp in the next few weeks.
