Finding help on the offensive line became priority No. 1 in a hurry for the Carolina Panthers this offseason. And make no mistake, nobody associated with the franchise was arguing about this approach after what they had to witness in 2021.

Crumbling under pressure with no accountability became an ongoing theme for the protection. Had it not been for stud right tackle Taylor Moton, there is a high chance this would have been the league’s worst unit.

As it stands right now, there is far more hope. One reason for this is the signing of Bradley Bozeman, who joined on a very team-friendly deal after being allowed to leave the Baltimore Ravens for nothing.

Bozeman has experience at either guard position. But he has thrived as a center in recent years and this is where the Panthers should utilize him next season.

With Matt Paradis no longer around and Pat Elflein’s inconsistencies rearing their head once again, this was a no-brainer and should provide Carolina with an instant upgrade in blocking and communication from the interior.

Couple this with Austin Corbett and Ikem Ekwonu also coming on board, and the future looks very bright indeed for whoever Carolina chooses as its starting quarterback.
