Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks – Week 14
Just where the Carolina Panthers are going to be from a record standpoint by this time of year is uncertain. It promises to be another rollercoaster ride for everyone associated with the franchise and finishing off the season strong will be the best way head coach Matt Rhule can generate some late momentum depending on what transpires beforehand.
It will be another long slog up to the Week 13 bye. However, the Panthers have experienced this over the last two seasons, even if the playing personnel has drastically changed once again in recent months.
Rhule needs a signature win in 2022.
There is absolutely no getting away from that.
Although the Seattle Seahawks are not the force of old after trading Russell Wilson to the Denver Broncos and releasing All-Decade linebacker Bobby Wagner, Lumen Field is still a difficult place to go with a rousing fanbase that has been known to spur the team on to great things.
Carolina triumphing in Seattle might not seem like much. But this is one of their real winnable games on the schedule and something they simply have to capitalize on.
Whether morale will be at an acceptable point by this stage of the campaign is anybody’s guess. This could also be a time we see more of rookie quarterback Matt Corral depending on what the Panthers are competing for down the stretch.
